New Extended Hours for Camp!

Does your child want more pool time?

Swim lessons are a great way for your child to end the day. Plus, they offer added reassurance when your child participates in recreational swim every day.

Group and private swim lessons run from 3:55-4:25, 4:30-5:00 and 5:05-5:35 PM. If you choose to register your child for swim lessons as part of our extended hours option, their counselor will accompany them down to the pool for their lesson. Visit the front desk to sign your child up today!

Detailed camp information including frequently asked questions is available in the Parent Survival Guide. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to read all of the information in the Survival Guide, as you will be held accountable for the information.

Special Offers for Summer 2008

1. Summer Sign up Day will be March 8, 2008 from 9am - 11am at the newly renovated John A. Davis Family YMCA Facility in La Mesa. Come see our recently up dated facility with dedicated indoor and outdoor space for camp. Summer camp vendors will be available as well as activities for the kids to keep busy while you register. Families that sign up on this day will save $5 when signing up for 1-6 weeks of camp and $10 when signing up for 7-11 weeks of camp. Please keep your eye out for special mailers and continue to check our website for current information.

2. Healthy Kids Day will be held April 12th. 2008 at the John A. Davis Family YMCA. The East County Family YMCA will celebrate keeping kids active with a fun filled day full of crafts, kid friendly activities, and demonstrations. All programs will be offering savings to those who attend. Families that sign up for summer camp on Healthy Kids Day will receive $5 off per camp. Please keep your eye out for special mailers and continue to check our website for current information.

3. $10 Sibling Discount for families with more than one immediate family member in camp at the same time.

4. Youth Membership: save weekly by becoming a member of the East County Family YMCA.

5. Financial Assistance is made available to income eligible families through generous donations and a grant from the Community Campership Council. Applications are available at the YMCA front desk. Please submit application with the camp registration form. Financial assistance may only be used for traditional camps and may be limited.
   

How to Register

1. Make camp selections.

2. Complete the Camp Registration and Camp Selection and Payment forms (you may download them here). One form for each camper is required.

3. To complete your enrollment choose from the following registration methods:

   • Mail In: Mail your forms to:

   East County Family YMCA

   John A. Davis Facility

   8881 Dallas Street

   La Mesa, CA 91942

   • Fax In: Fax forms to (619) 464-1361. Please add your credit card information (name, number and expiration date) for payment of required deposits.

   • Walk In: Return all completed forms to the East County Family YMCA during regular operating hours. The YMCA is open daily.

   • Online: Register online beginning March 8, 2008.

4. All enrollments are subject to availability. No registrations are guaranteed. Incomplete registration and/or health information will not be processed and may be returned for completion.

5. You will not receive a bill in the mail for your remaining balance. Balance of a camp is due the Monday prior to the start of the camp session. Balances not received by this time may be removed from the roster to accommodate participants on a wait list.

6. All camp deposits are non-refundable. Deposits may be transferred to a different camp session with a two week advanced notice.
